All potential residents must:
- Be homeless as defined by HUD
- Have at least one child not older than 18
- Be a resident of Nash or Edgecombe County
- Demonstrate a commitment to improving
their lives and be willing to abide by the rules of the Bassett center
- Be free from any substance for (1) the
previous 30 days prior to admission; (2) All applicants will be
tested prior to admission
- Have intake completed and have been
referred for the program from a referring agency
- Read and sign the guidelines and
policies for residents at the Bassett Center
- Must be 18 years of age or older
